September 2011 — "I was in Canmore for the weekend and someone told me this was the gallery to goto. Wow were they right - there's something for every one, from the serious collector too the first time buyer. The quality and variety of the art was outstanding! I'll be back soon."

Established in 1980, the Avens Gallery features original works by both established and up-and-coming artists from the local area and across the West. The gallery prides itself on highlighting outstanding, and frequently changing, displays of paintings, glass sculpture, clay, wood, metal and bronze. Open daily 11 am - 5 pm with extended summer and Christmas hours.
