This is one of the primary cultural venues in the Columbia Valley. Located on the shores of Lake Windermere, Pynelogs showcases a variety of local artists and artisans. Enjoy arts-related workshops, concerts and a variety of other cultural events. Popular Café operates Tues to Sat while gallery & gift shop are open daily 11 am - 4 pm, (April to October).

Mountain Mosaic Festival of the ARTS

Free Festival for the whole family at Kinsmen Beach, following the Canada Day Parade. Enjoy the Home Hardware Festival Stage featuring live entertainment. Art Tents, build a boat and float with Cops for Kids, Clowns, Bounce Castles and more. Participate in the Transformation Station with tattoos, face painting and hair dooz. Lunch served by Scotty Burgers, Big Horn Footballs Players, Cops for Kids, Bannock, Legion Food kiosk. 12:30 to 3 pm

Our highly anticipated annual concert showcase is coming back; the highly successful youth performance, Pynestock, returns with some old favorites and new delights inside the historic walls of Pynelogs. This concert is a tradition that has quickly become a favorite venue for both locals and visitors due to its intimate setting and diverse line-up. Those of you who take pleasure in live music and unique talents are bound to enjoy this distinctive event.
Columbia Valley Tour of the ARTS

The fourth annual Tour of the Arts is a self-guided tour showcasing Columbia Valley artists in unique settings. The Tour raises funds to support the programs of Columbia Valley Arts Council. The Passport book is your admission to all 5 Tour Sites and the Celebrate the Arts reception. Passports include the Tour map and Artist photos and bios. On sale on June 25, 2011- $25 ($30 on Tour day), $10 for students aged 13-18, children free. Passports stamped at all sites are eligible for the draw prize.
Tour Sites highlight beautiful properties near Windermere and Fairmont. Each location includes juried works of several artists. Sites include: Swansea Ranch, McBlaine property, Windermere Loop Rd, Gratton property, Kootenay #3 Rd, Stewart property, Fairmont Hot Springs and Nichols property, Fairmont Hot Springs
Familiar Tour artists along with first time participants present hundreds of works of art in stunning Valley locations. Enjoy demonstrations, discussions with artists and opportunities to purchase art.
